    Hi there ?? !

I’ve created an “Empty Cart” template and activated it in WooLentor settings. It looks great, with “Recently Viewed Items” and “Recommended Items” widgets included.

But if you add any product to cart and remove it, then the “Empty Cart” layout shows totally broken.

This seems to be happening because the template is embedded in the “Cart” page as part of a form response or something similar. If the plugin would did a redirect to the “Empty Cart” page instead, this probably wouldn’t happen, because if you reload the page, it looks great again.

Does anyone face the same problem? Is there any solution for this?

    Kind regards.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Could you please tell us which specific widget you are using for Recently view product? If you share the widget name, it would be helpful for us to find the issue.

Hi @zenaulislam, thanks for your support ?? !

This issue is certainly not restricted to a widget. This happens with everything you put in the empty cart template. Please check this site: https://jinglebi-cp5029.wordpresstemporal.com/test_site/

Add a product to the cart and delete it. You will see the following text:

“This should be a blue text H2 header.
This should be a blue text H2 header.
This should be a blue text H2 header.
The Page Title is hidden in Elementor, btw.”

Then, simply reload the page in your browser and you will see how the text takes the correct format and the title of the page is hidden.

    Kind regards.

Hi @tarekht, thanks for your support ?? .

I’ve been facing this issue for months. I’ve opened tickets a couple of times about it, but couldn’t find a solution that way. So, I decide to go through the forum to see if anyone is facing the same problem or if anyone can find a solution for it.

It must have something to do with the way the “Cart Page” works, because it appears when you remove products from the cart (perhaps using AJAX I guess). The “Empty Cart Template” looks perfect if you load it directly.

    Kind regards.

I am sorry to hear that you have been facing the issue for a long time ??

With due respect, if you had created a couple of tickets earlier, didn’t our support team give you any solution?

If you haven’t received any solution yet, I sincerely apologize for that. After checking the plugin once again from our end, it seems to be working properly.

    Please watch the following screencast:

    Hi again @tarekht ?? !

Unfortunately, the support team has not been able to resolve this issue for me. That’s why I decided to go trough this forum.

I checked your screencast and it seems to be fine on your end. It’s really weird. If you check my demo site you will see the issue: https://jinglebi-cp5029.wordpresstemporal.com/test_site/

The same goes for other sites I’ve run locally for development and other sites online as well. They all have the same problem. Maybe it could be related to Elementor “Experiments”, maybe with PHP version, perhaps with server’s systems (NGINX and IIS on my side)… who knows.

Note: Still we’ll try our best to figure out the root cause of the issue and resolve it.

Thanks a lot, I really need to solve this ?? .

    Kind regards.

    Hi @tarekht, good morning ?? !

Unfortunately I have to say that the problem persists.

Your tech support dept has been working on a solution and some changes they made have worked, but as soon as I made some changes to the template, to verify that the issue was resolved, the issues reappear.

This is a big drawback, because I have other sites with the same problem and I need a solution that works for all sites.

That said, I tried to get around it by including a CSS sheet at the bottom of the page to control every detail of the template. It seems to work reasonably well, so the problem here is that all Elementor customization is ignored when the template is embedded as a response on the “Empty Cart Page”. It’s as if all Elementor’s CSS is being erased.

Does make sense? I hope your support dept can find a solution for this that works on all sites.

    Kind regards.

    Hi @albridi,

    Good morning from here ??

Thanks for reporting this to us.

After testing the plugin on multiple websites and different platforms, we have discovered that it works perfectly fine.

It is possible that when you are making any changes to the template, your server may be storing a cache that prevents Elementor’s customization CSS from being properly applied. Could you please try again after clearing the server and browser caches?

Hopefully, it will resolve the issue.

We will look forward to hearing from you in this regard.

    Best regards,
    Tarek

    Hi @tarekht, good morning ?? !

After doing some research, I found out that my hosting provider seems to be using some kind of cache called “microcache”. I’ve deactivated and reactivated it in my user area and now the “Empty Cart Template” seems to be working find ?? .

But now I’ve detected another strange issue. Go to https://jinglebi-cp5029.wordpresstemporal.com/test_site/ and try filtering the product grid using the price slider. You’ll see that the page redirects to the blog instead of filtering. I haven’t had this problem before.

Could you check this too please? Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards.
