Unable to insert blog.

Hi – when I try and activate JetPack, I get an error that says, “Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support.” When I use the debug tool, the error is “Could not validate security token”.

Reading through the forum, the error seems to occur when you have WP in a sub-directory, which is my case. My subdirectory is “gifts”.

I used to have another error which I resolved by re-directing https://lifeonrecord.com/xmlrpc.php to the URL https://lifeonrecord.com/gifts/xmlrpc.php

Any assistance would be appreciated.
