    Hello,

    My current WP setup

    PHP/MySQL version: 7.4.5 / 5.7.23
    Theme used: Gauge Child
    Extensions in place: BackWPup (4.0.0)
    Name of the host: Gandi
    Website address: https://www.filmspourenfants.net
    Problems encountered :

    The backup task ends in error on one of my sites.`

    [23-Nov-2022 09:41:06] ERROR: Replica FTP server: 530 Maximum number of tries exceeded. Please contact the site manager.
    [23-Nov-2022 09:41:06] ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!
    [23-Nov-2022 09:41:06] ERROR: Job completed with errors in 8 seconds. You must fix errors for proper execution.

    • My FTP server is a Synology NAS server.
    • Test from another site on the same NAS: it works.
    • The site that works is hosted at OVH, this one is at Gandi, is that the reason for the concern?

    Hi @trapipo
    Please try go to your job setting -> FTP tab -> FTP specific settings -> FTP enable Passive Mode then run the job again.

    Hello,
    I found the solution to my blockage.
    In the interface of my NAS, Gandi’s IP was blocked.
    So on the Synology interface I went:Control Panel > Security > Protection > Allow/Block List > Block List.

    an IP corresponded to a source from Gandi, I deleted it from the list.

    And voila, now my backup task works with the WpBackUp plugin.
