So much potential, so little customer focus

I’ve been using the product for years across a number of different websites including the pro version, tickets, community events, promoter, filter bar etc. Their website FAQs and guides are pretty good, but if you need customer support for any reason, then you’ll be left disappointed on most occasions.
They are always experiencing delays due to increase support requests (which tells you something in itself) but they’ve been using the same excuse for years… and its been a lot worse over the past 12 months.
Some basic functionality appears to be missing (too much to list here) and when you try and provide feedback, you get pushed to submit it as an ‘idea’ to let others vote on it and if it’s important enough, maybe they’ll look at it.
Sadly there are some key functions with hundreds of votes that still don’t get any attention.
The whole company just reeks of arrogance treating their customers with contempt and poor service that seems to be declining more and more.
If you just have a hobby site then its a great solution – but if events are business-critical to you, look for another solution that provides much more responsive and competent customer support. Its a shame because I truly think it could be great, but poor customer support really lets them down.
