• Hello.

The plugin hadn’t been giving major loading problems for some time.

Unfortunately in thi last week we realized that with the WordPress update to the new version 6.1.1, the Songkick plugin almost always creates loading problems, as in this case:

    Can the problem be solved?

Otherwise, in spite of ourselves, we have to disable it or delete it.

    Thank you

Unfortunately today, to our great regret, we had to disable the plugin because it gave us an error on the pages where it was installed, not letting us access the administrator panel. We hope you can solve the problem, otherwise we will be forced to take it off and find something similar.
    A thousand thanks

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues. The plugin hasn’t been tested with this version of WordPress yet.

However, I can’t see an error on the page you linked to (https://www.musicletter.it/home/2022/09/13/weyes-blood-il-nuovo-album-and-in-the-darkness-hearts-aglow-e-il-tour-internazionale/). I can see the plugin loaded underneath the youtube video.

Is there any more information you can share about the error?

    Hello Sabrina.

We have always the some problem with your plugin.

When we click on some posts that contain the code of your plugin (for example concerts of an artist) wordpress gives us this error: “A critical error has occurred on your website”. And the page remains blank.

Sometimes I have to simply update the post to temporarily fix the problem, but after a while the same error as above comes back.

    Can you help us?

    Thx

In posts where the html code of the plugin (artist or venue) is inserted it gives me “Error server 5xx”

PS – In case I’m forced to remove the plugin, is there a way to remove the script in all the articles where the html script is inserted so as not to leave indecipherable terms for the users of the plugin itself?

Sorry to hear! However, as I mentioned before, I can’t see any errors on the pages you linked to. What I see now is the shortcode for the plugin, which indicates you turned it off, right?

Is it possible for you to share here the error logs when that happens? thank you!

Hi Sabrina, with great regret and after months of trying I removed the plugin because it occasionally crashed the page or article in which the script was embedded. The error is 500 or rather 5xx. Even when I put the widget in home the site was unreachable. Unfortunately I don’t know how to give you the error log. I am a simple and humble user.

I’m sorry to hear that! If you could, here’s an explanation of how to find the error logs that would really help me and other users figure out what’s going on. thank you!

Sorry, @saleandro but reluctantly we decided to remove the plugin, too unpredictable for us. Thank you.
