Post sitemap showing 0 (zero) images

    Hello,

    For some reason, my sitemap is showing zero images in the Post sitemap. According to GSC, though, they are being crawled and indexed.

    What could be the problem? The theme is GeneratePress, and the host is WPX. On DreamHost, I had no such problems (albeit with a different theme).

    Any insight into how to fix this is appreciated.

    Hi Alex,

    This is a small visual bug we’ve introduced in the latest version. It only affects image count in the stylesheet of the sitemap (what you as a user see when you look at the sitemap), but the underlying source code still includes all the images. That’s why search engines are still able to crawl them. We already fixed this in the next update that will be out at the start of December.
