• The worst thing ever is when you go to upgrade your plugins, only for them to ruin functionality on your site.

My buttons were de-formatted for a few days until I realized the culprit was this upgrade! It makes you feel like you can’t trust a plugin when something so important, like a button to a sales page, is poorly formatted. I had to downgrade to multiple different versions of this plugin before finding one that would work for me and bring my button formatting back like it was (version 1.25.6, FYI. All of the 2.0 versions wrecked my buttons!)

  • I had the same issue, and my site was down due to Spectra updated, I have to disable the plugin from backend to get my site up.
The problem seems to have been solved in version 2.0.15. It is working fine now.

    Hello @mushusu,

    Thanks for writing to us.

We are glad this works for you.

@ambitiouslyalexa, please try to update to version 2.0.15 and see whether the button issue still persists. If it does, please go ahead and open a support ticket with us from here:https://wpspectra.com/support/.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I did not upgrade to Spectra. It seems the upgrade happened without me realizing it. I am cautious and careful about using plugins.

I have problems with my buttons now. The support ticket has been open for 2 weeks. Apparently, the ticket was escalated. I am crossing my fingers that the escalation gets a resolution. The experience with Astra support to date is dismal, so crossing my fingers and hoping right now.

    Hi @clinthi53,

It’s good you created a ticket and we assure you that we’ll always ensure you have a solution.

Please let us know whether you have any other queries.

    Regards.
    Judith.

    Hello @ambitiouslyalexa @clinthi53 @mushusu ,

It’s been a while since we heard from you. I request you let us know whether you are still experiencing issues with the Spectra plugin.

We would like you to know that we have worked on improving the plugin and fixing any bugs users reported and we can say at the moment we haven’t received any alarming issues except those that are site-specific.

Please let us know, we’ll be happy to look at them.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello @judith0,

    Thank you for following up.

Months later, the ticket is still open, and support is not responsive.

    Hello,

Yeah, I’m still not going to upgrade if I have to risk functionality issues on my site. Maybe you fixed something in the latest upgrade, but who knows if the next one will break once again.

So in case you wonder what I’m doing, I am safely keeping my plug-in on the older version that I know will be stable/work.

    Hello @ambitiouslyalexa,

    Thanks for writing to us.

I request you create a test site and do the update from there so that there are no update issues with your live site.

However we have fixed all bugs currently with the plugin and we believe the new update is stable.

Please try updating from the staging site and let us know how this goes.
