Spacing issue in widget right side bar area

There spacing issues with the right sidebar widget. There is a huge gap between blocks vertically. Will build an image block. Then build an paragraph block below it. There is a large space between the two.
In main content area the spacing is perfect. Problem is the widget area probably both left and right widget area. I heard Gutenberg gets lots of complaints from designers because it has bugs in it. And this probably what their referring to. Solution? Looks like CSS is the only solution.
I have no coding skills in CSS. Minimal skills in html. Would need step by step instructions if I tried to fix problem myself. So would like feedback on how to reduce spacing between blocks in widget area. Would like to try to do myself without having to hire a coder.

Have tried to change the padding, margin and block spacing of blocks in the sidebar settings below Dimensions?
