    Hello,

My website has 3 languages and I would like to send email in users selected language.
Is there a way to send different email templates depending on users’ language? Maybe using hooks/filters?

    Hi @danielsps and @clementrectangle,

    Sorry for the late reply.

Currently, it is not possible to translate the email template content into other languages using our Abandoned Cart Lite plugin. You will need to manually translate the email template to another language. You can translate the strings of our plugin to another language using the .po and .mo files we provide in our plugin.

You can generate “.po” and “.mo” files to another language which will include the translated strings of the text of abandoned cart reminder email using PoEdit tool. And the same files you would need to add in the “woocommerce-abandoned-cart/i18n/languages” folder of your website.

Below are the instructions which you can follow to translate it into your localized language.

    1) Download the woocommerce-abandoned-cart.po file, translate the strings in some translator(example poedit tool).

    2) Save the file with the required language code suffix(for example: fr_FR.po) which in turn will generate the .mo file(fr_FR). After saving, the .po and .mo files are ready to use.

    3) Upload those files at “woocommerce-abandoned-cart/i18n/languages” folder of our plugin and also, in the “wp-content/languages” folder.

However, if you want the reminder email should be sent to the customer in whichever language the customer has abandoned the cart then it is possible to achieve this with our Premium version of the Abandoned Cart plugin. The Pro version is compatible with the WPML plugin. You can translate the email templates of the Pro version using WPML. Once the abandoned cart email templates have been translated into WPML, then the emails will be sent to the customers in the same language in which they have abandoned the cart.

Here is the link to the blog post which will explain how you can translate our Abandoned Cart Pro plugin with WPML. Also, our Abandoned Cart Pro plugin is compatible with the Polylang and the Loco Translate plugins.

Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.

    Regards,
    Priyanka
