Just to confirm, you are referring to the Cache Preload. If so, have you added more than one sitemap to the sitemap URL field?

Yes, I have a general sitemap where placed links to the other sitemaps (ex. blog, retailers, …)

Thank you for your feedback.
As you can check in the source of those pages:
Page Caching using disk: enhanced (Page is 404)
This means that the page is not cached as W3TC thinks this is 404 page. In this case, you can enable the option: Cache 404 (not found) pages in Performance>Page Cache. Make sure to check the description “If the disk enhanced method of disk caching is used, 404 pages will be returned with a 200 response code. Use at your own risk.”
