Age Gate isn’t displayed

    Hi, when I access the site the plugin age gate pop-up doesn’t appear on the first screen “home” but only appears if i view another page for example “about us”. Why?

    Looks like the page may have been cached. I looked on this link https://www.jackagency.it/vapesmoke/?v=12345 and now it shows on the main link too for me.

    Hi – this is happening for me, too.

    I’m cleared all the caches. I’ve turned on the Javascript Method under Caching/Performance and also the load early option.

    This helped some, because now at least the age question appears on every page, but still not on the home page.

    Hi Phil and Ellie,

    we had already cleared the cache but the problem kept showing up.
    Why are there these problems?

    Now it appears in the main page “Home”
    We hope that the problem won’t recur……

    It doesn’t show for me here either. Caches are purged. Is it due to a combination of my other plugins? In the browser dev console I see some cookie and link-preload attribute problems, but don’t know what to make out of it… Thanks in advance!

    Hi @mediengestalt – looks like whatever is compressing your javascript files is cutting off a huge amount to the file.

    This file: https://ml7g2ebsmaed.i.optimole.com/f:js/q:mauto/m:0/https://carolinsaage.com/wp-content/cache/minify/69a0c.js

    ends with e.exports=function(e){return/^([a-z][a-z\d+\-.]*:)?\/\
    That is only about half way through the file.

    If you can, omit the age gate files from whatever is doing this as they’re already compressed in the plugin.

    Thanks so much for the tip and the plugin! It is indeed the minified JS created by optimole (image optimizier), when I disable “minify JS” globally it does work. Omitting this file does not work though, could it be that optimole creates dynamic file names for these? I guess I should ask them instead, right? ??
