Sub-navigation items in the right-hand panel are listed by most recent update by default, with the latest item changed appearing at the top. I have a specific order I need them listed in, and would like it to remain static. I know this is something that can be controlled with 3rd party section-navigation plugins & widgets, but I wanted to check and see if this was a built-in feature that I may just be missing or is perhaps disabled in the free version.

You are talking about sidebar widgets maybe? We have Popular Articles and Related Articles widgets. Here’s the documentation on that https://basepresskb.com/docs/knowledge-base/adding-content/using-widgets/

You may add WordPress’ “Recent Articles” widget in the sidebar if you wish.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, please reach out to us using contact form on our website and we’d love to help you.

It may be similar to this issue; not sure, but the setting that is supposed to affect the display order just doesn’t seem to work for me. It’s not a sidebar widget problem. For example, this list of articles – whether I choose alphabetical or by publish date (and make sure the one I want first is the most recent), #1 is always at the bottom. I’ve tried adding “a”, and subsequent letters to the next articles, but no matter what I do, I can’t get it to display in the correct order.
