blank page when auto-update, see medias, modify article in admin.

  • Hi,

    I use wordpress 2.9.2 with theme Motion 1.0.4.

    First, a few months ago, I saw that with my theme I couldn’t update automatically my extentions. I had to put the default french theme wordpress, update, then put back “motion” theme.

    But since a few weeks I had these consecutive errors: When I tried to update to wordpress 3, I went to a white screen. Even disabling all extensions and theme. Then, unable to see my medias posted in my control panel (that’s one week). Now, I cannot edit anymore my posts, I can post article but again I am redirrected to a white page with no functionnality when I want to “modify” them. as seen here (in two browsers): https://indiegamemaker.fr/wp-content/download/edit.png

    Can anyone help pleaaaaase?

    Have you tried using the TwentyTen theme? If its a problem with a theme you will have to contact the Theme author directly or post in the Theme forum.

    Hi I guess it’s a problem of the theme, but even disabling the theme now I’m unable to do everything!

    Edit: Sorry but I think I cannot use the theme you told me, the twenty ten, because I don’t use WordPress 3.

    Did you purpose me to USE it or that it COULD have been a problem from that.

    You had mentioned in the original post updating to 3.0. Try the default Classic theme. If its the theme your choices are to contact the theme author; fix the theme yourself or find another theme.

    WP 3.01 fixes a lot of things so you might want to look forward rather than fixing with 2.92.
