Hi, since updating to the most recent version, our site has started running painfully slow. Updating and restarting litespeed on the server helped a little but there is something wrong. I notice lots of cache cleared notifications in the backend. Not sure if that is related. If anyone can help, we would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Unfortunately you don’t give us much information about the cache status, but if you say that you obviously get a lot of messages that the cache has been purged, that could possibly be the cause.

The showdown happened immediately after updating the plugin so I don’t think it’s a settings issue.

Can the admins roll back the update until the bugs are worked out???

update: I downgraded to version 5.2.1 and the site returned to normal.
If you don’t know how to get the version 5.2.1 package, the easiest way is to use Litespeed Cache rollback function. Do the following:
Go to Litespeed Cache > Toolbox > Beta Test > click in 5.2.1 tag > click Upgrade

or download the zip file from here: https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/releases/tag/v5.2.1

I am experiencing the same! Since midnight of last night (1am GMT on November 4th) my website is excruciatingly slow for seemingly no reason. I think it lines up with an auto-update from the LiteSpeed Cache plugin.

However the downgrade to version 5.2.1 did not seem to resolve the issue. I tried version 5.1 too and also tried downgrading the server from 6.0.12 build 11 to build 7 with no luck.

Are others still struggling with this?

who is still having problems don’t forget to go to Toolbox > Purge > Empty Entire Cache after doing the update rollback
