Button colors changed by recent GiveWP update

    I notice that all of my sites that use GiveWP lost their branded button color (“primary color”) when you all moved the “primary color” option out of Step 1 and into the general “visual appearance” box.

    In this case, it would have been prudent to have the plugin pull the old color value when creating a different database entry for the new color value.

    Do you all have a process where when you change the GiveWP plugin, you make sure it doesn’t break old sites?

    Hi @severisth,

    Glad you reached out, I’ll need a little more information to get to the bottom of things. What you are reporting is an issue that was resolved in the core plugin several versions back.

    Let’s start with a look at your system information. You send this by navigating to Donations > Tools > System Info (tab) and click the button to “Get System Report” and copy/paste that in your reply here. That should give me some context.
