    Hi,

    I have just installed Newsup for my blog. I find the theme interesting but would like to reduce the height of the header image. It looks quite large taking more screen space. Could anyone please assist in resizing the header image.

    Thanks,

  • Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us,

    For this please add the below CSS code in additional CSS field (Theme Dashboard >> appearance >> customize >> additional CSS filed )

    .mg-nav-widget-area-back .inner {
        padding: 70px 0;
        height: 200px;

    Hi, I just realize that top menu par is very close to / hitting the site description. I mean there is no gap between the menu bar and the site description. It would be ideal if the menu bar height can be reduced and also the size of the menu font. Would appreciate receiving your support on this. Thanks.

    Hi,

    For this please share your website URL, then we will check and better assist you.

    [ Deleted and moved to link field. Do not use link shortners again. ]

    While I have been able to rectify the issue on the home page, however the problem can be seen in Category / menu page (as appearing in the link above)

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    You are using a custom for this, please remove the below custom code in additional CSS field then check your website

    .mg-nav-widget-area-back .inner {
        padding: 70px 0;
        height: 100px;
    }

    Thanks. I have checked my website. I am using the below custom code in additional CSS field:

    .mg-nav-widget-area-back .inner {
    padding: 15px 0;
    height: 130px;
    }

    I have removed the current code. It appears that the issue happens when I access the ‘category’. While opening individual post or home page the problem does not occur.

    Thanks.

    Thanks, will submit a review using the link provided by you.

    One more query. How to display category with drop down menu in the widget bar. Presently, all the categories are appearing without drop down facility. If the theme does not provide drop-down facility then whether any plugin is available?

    If you feel I should raise the above query by a separate post, please let me know.

    Thanks again.
