Thank you for responding to my question!
I’ve attached an image to show how the form is currently set up.

When someone sends a message through my contactform I get an email that says ‘from: Stoffeerdersbedrijf van Zetten’ (the company name), but when I double check it was send through my private e-mail instead of the website domain…

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

I’m using Avada and have the following plugins:
– Hostnet mailer (Hostnet Mailer reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use a correct return path)
– PWA
– Tidio Chat
– Yoast SEO (and Premium)
– Broken link checker
– And of course Contact form 7

Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

Hello Takayuki, it seems to have been an issue with the Hostnet Mailer. It was a bit scary to turn everything off, but it worked out in the end. Thank you for taking the time to help out!
