Remove line breaks of some syntax highlighting plugins

Not only with plugins but also in the native “code” block all line breaks are removed. Everything is saved okay to DB, but when it’s rendered line breaks are removed.

I had to rollback to v2.0.34.

I had the same issue, all the multi-line code blocks on my articles lost line breaks and they were displayed on a single line as soon as I updated this plugin to v2.0.35.

Once I realized that the issue was due to this plugin I disabled the plugin to fix the issue and then rolled back to v2.0.34 as suggested above.

It’s worth making sure regression tests are in place to ensure compatibility with WordPress native blocks.

We recently pushed the latest update 2.0.35.2. Can you please check once by updating the plugin to the latest version and let us know back if it works? So that we will help you accordingly to resolve your issue.
