How to obtain a referral URL so the referred website knows it’s us sending buyers?
Thanks for your understanding. I have no clue where to start.
If someone can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it!

Just have a few products from a friend and don’t need a whole affiliate program set up…

  • Hello,

If I understand correctly, you would like to add some external products to your site to promote them, correct?

If so, you can start here:

Hi and thanks for the answer!
I have done all of the above.
The question I have is – when the customer is sent to the merchant’s page from my shop, how does the merchant know they came from MY store??
Sorry- I can’t wrap my head around this one!
    Thanks again!

    Hello @passiondove,

Just make sure I fully understand the request here. You have another site where you or a friend sell products and want a way to refer people from your personal site to the one you’re selling products on.

In that case, you are not the one who should be issuing those referral links, the site selling these products should. When a customer buys something using the link that you’ll add to the site, they should get a notification using the affiliate system they have.

As for how to add the links on your site, you’ll need to create an affiliate product as shown below from All Products > Add new.

    Hope this helps!
