Portfolio for comments on the map

    It would be perfect if one could see all of the comments (description) users made by adding locatiosn on the map beneath the map. And it would be lovely, if one could let users discuss and rate on added locations and sort them to specific subjects via keywords or subtitles.

    For this it would be necessary to organize the comments in a portfolio, I guess.

    Thanks for reaching out (on all channels ??)!

    I like the idea of having a list view of all locations. As you might know a gallery shortcode (does the same but only for images) is available already.

    I’ll have to think a bit more about it but probably two new features would make sense here:

    • A Shortcode to list all locations. “Fields” would be an attribute that should be used to define the data to be shown for each location.
    • A public PHP function that does the same but returns an array of locations. A developer could use this data to build something out of it (e.g. search, sorting, discussions, etc).

    This won’t be part of the next release but should not take too long. I’ll keep you in the loop.
