• Hi everyone

I recently upgraded to WordPress 3.0 in order to use the multisite function. This all appeared to go fine.

I have created a second site, but if I navigate to Dsshboard -> My Sites and then click on ‘Visit’ or ‘Dsshboard’ for the new site, I get a 404/page not found error. This also happens if I go to ‘Super Admin’ and click on ‘Backend’ or ‘Visit’ for the new site. ‘Edit’ works OK though. The original Blog is fine for all of these functions.

I am using subdirectories – not subdomains.
    Original Blog is at https://www.[site].com/blog
New site is at (or should be) https://www.[site].com/blog/%5Bnewsite%5D

I posted a previous topic on here, and contributors thought the issue was due to the .htaccess file. I have been told by my ISP that the server is actually running on IIS/Windows and therefore the .htaccess file doesn’t apply.

Do I need a web.config file and if so what should it contain? Is there anything else that is IIS specific that could be a problem?

    Thanks

    Mike
