If you insert pages in mega menu, and you want to format hyperlinks, I had to manually go into code and make sure (for example) and are right before and after the actual text and NOT outside the links.
In my case, I am used to heavy use of home and end when selecting text. That one little space can make all the difference. That one little space gets ignored on normal WordPress, but in this instance it is everything.
