Product Image stored in the wrong folder

    When I upload a product image on the Edit Product page it gets stored in the wrong YYYY/MM/ folder. Picture uploads via the Media Library page are stored correctly.

    I disabled all plugins apart from WooCommerce and switched to Twenty Twenty-Two, but it’s still saving pictures all over the place (mostly 2021/12/ and 2020/05/ for some weird reason). WordPress Timezone is set to Berlin.

    Any idea how to fix this?

    Thanks for reaching out! From what I understand, when images are uploaded directly via the media library they are placed in the expected folder; something not true, if they are uploaded via the edit product page.

    In order for us to investigate further, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.?

    Additionally, could you also provide us with the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Once you’ve copied each, you can use https://pastebin.com/ for pasting it there and sharing it with us.
