Promo code that does not work depending on the type of discount chosen

Hello @alexisfontana74,

When you create a coupon code with the discount type ‘Percentage discount’, it works in the shopping cart. But when you select ‘Fixed basket discount’, it doesn’t work anymore.

If I understand this correctly, coupons work fine when choosing a percentage discount but not a fixed basket.

Do you get any behaviour when applying the fixed basked code?

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status so we can get a better idea of what’s going on? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Also, please check the fatal error logs (if any) from WooCommerce > Status > Logs and choose from the drop-down menu the fatal-errors.log`

Can you please try disabling the following plugin?

YITH WooCommerce Coupon Email System Premium: par YITH – 1.20.0

If that doesn’t take care of it, then the next step should be a full conflict test which you can perform by:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not comfortable doing all of this on the live version of your site, you can create a staging environment using WP-STAGING.

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
