On Demand Scan

    Hello,

    Just a quick question hopefully. I am concerned that many security plugins can slow a site down with the constant scanning. With wordfence is it possible to install the plugin and then only do a scan on demand without any additional monitoring. In other words the plugin itelf does nothing until I tell it too on a weekly basis?

    Hi @awilson3rd

    The free version of the plugin has two scan modes, a quick scan and a full scan. Quick scans run daily and a full scan runs every three days and are started automatically. You have no control over this.

    Only Premium users can set a specific automatic scan schedule for full scans, or disable full scans, which is what you are looking for.
