I recently installed FileBird for a client. She successfully created folders and added her images. But, those folders are not available to the pages. They are nowhere to be found when Add Media is open.

  • Hi @marjoriesdaughter,

    Thanks for reaching out.
May I know which page builder are you using?
Could you please share with us your screenshots or screencasts showing that there are no images when you add the images to pages?

    All the best,
    Rose

Thank you for the response! I apologize for the delay in replying.

We are not using a page builder at all. I custom code any needed customizations. But, the theme the client chose is Avadanta Trade.

Is there somewhere I should be sending screenshots to?

    Hi @marjoriesdaughter ,

Just to clarify that, we do code FileBird to be compatible with page builders and plugins that have the capability to explore media library during certain updating or development of pages, post and Gallery.

So in this case that you custom code how your page is developed, such incompatibility is not a surprise.

Also to clarify that only our PRO-version supports 3rd parties builders and if you use PRO-version, we could possibly check for you to see if we can make it compatible with your custom code, just contact us:

I see that you have read an awful lot into my reply that is not there.

I will not waste your time or mine going through your answer bit by bit. But, I will give you one hint in how you have not paid attention or asked questions before making assumptions. You wrote, “So in this case that you custom code how your page is developed, such incompatibility is not a surprise.” You did not ask whether the whole site is custom built or whether the customizations are in the CSS.

As such, I will be sure not to use plugins from your organization in the future!

Could you please specify exactly what is not clear to you in my response, please?
Can you read the documentation here to learn more about how the plugin works, to have more ideas:

Thank you for being interested in improving your support!

My Words, “We are not using a page builder at all. I custom code any needed customizations.”

Your words, “So in this case that you custom code how your page is developed, such incompatibility is not a surprise.”

I think that the best way to head off the problem would be to state on the main plugin page that your plugin doesn’t work on sites with child theme CSS or PHP customizations. Then there would not have been any surprises on our part!

    Hi @marjoriesdaughter ,

Sorry for the misunderstanding caused by the way I replied!

Have you reached out to our dev support via the support link I attached earlier, please?
You can get the issue resolved with your custom-coded function.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    Bruce
