Where in Flexia can I add a custom wordpress hook to, that does not get overwritten in wordpress updates?

I am sure the main functions file gets updated every time there is an update.

So is there a child one that does not get overwritten?

    If so, where?

I need to add an important hook. but I don’t want it to get deleted with an update.

    Thank you,
    -Richard

  • Hello @ukndoit,

I hope you are doing well.

As you already know, Flexia Pro is a plugin. It requires Flexia Free theme. So you can create a child theme and add functionalities there.

If you want to add a hook in a function of the Pro plugin, it’s not possible. But you can share with us which function you want to add. If it makes sense, we can definitely think about it.

    Thank you!

how about add a widget that can put a hook in the function if we want it. ?? then anyone can add hooks they want ?? that would be amazing, just make it a widget for function hooks.

    Hello @ukndoit,

Thanks for this feature request. I will definitely forward it to our Dev Team. If we find it useful for all our users then hopefully we will bring this in our future releases. In the meantime, You can use the “PHP Code Widget” plugin to insert your Custom Codes.

    Thank you!
