    Hi there @kgroven ????!

    Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

    Does that mean that data about end users for european customers is stored in Europe only, (and for american customers only in the US)?

    What do you mean exactly by end users? If you mean your site subscribers we don’t store that information in our services.

    For MailPoet users we do, and our servers in Germany and Finland where we store:

    -Email address, Names, IP and billing address.

    If you send emails with MailPoet, we will also record:

    – Logs of emails sent;
    – Support enquiries by email.`

    Finally in the URL that you shared you can see a list of third-party services that we use too.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers!

    Hi

    Thank you for your answer.

    On the same page (link), at the bottom of the section “Third-party services and their location”, Google Analytics (GA) is listed. Does GA, or any other third party service, store data about subscribers in the USA?

    Hey again @kgroven ,

    All the services listed there will apply equally to all subscribers, there is no differentiation between email addresses in a globally connected world that allows us to segment them based on physical location, since we don’t have any way of tracking down location of an email address user.

    Hey again!

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
