I’m new, if that isn’t obvious enough by the Topic title. I’m not sure how I even did this, but I deleted my ‘blog’ page, but my entries are still present on the admin panel under the Posts tab. Is there a way to make them active again? I only had 3, so not the end of the world if I have to start over, just need to know if I really need to start over or if there’s a way to put the blog page back on there.

    My Site
Can still view the missing info if URL is known

  • You may have changed the options under Admin->Settings->Reading->’Front page displays’.

If you want the blog to be the ‘Home’ page, select ‘Your latest posts’.

If not, create a blank page titled ‘Blog’ and assign that under ‘Posts page:’.

Ahhhh… that looks to be it, but now the blog page says domain.com/blog-2/ in the URL instead of simply ‘blog’. Can I fix that in the permalinks setting somehow?

You probably have a duplicate page titled Blog. Delete both pages, clear them from the trash, and create a new one.

Thanks, that worked. I didn’t realize there was a trash folder, that’s good to know.

    Glad you got it working.
