Can’t get JetPack to setup on a site (https://anna4truckee.com/) that started as a copy of another. It’s also installed at /wordpress, not the root.

I’ve got a few other sites that were also started as copies, but they gave me an option on the debug page to disconnect/reconnect, which fixed the issue. This one does not show that error/option. Just:

Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support.

    and

An error occurred. Please try again.

    Please advise.

    Hi @mpmchugh

I made an adjustment on our end so that Jetpack looks for WordPress in the /wordpress directory and not the root. Can you try to reconnect again?

    Hi @bruceallen,

That seemed to have worked. Odd it was just needed for this site and not the others. I typically install in a subdirectory to keep the hosting root tidy, as as there’s often other things installed as well on domains.

    Thanks,
    Michael
