• Just a quick one: does WordPress automatically adjust the Timezone setting to account for daylight savings, or do we have to manually adjust that setting twice a year?

  • It depends on your time zone setting.

If you set your time zone to a city, WordPress takes care of DST automatically.

But if you set your time zone as a UTC offset, then WordPress has no locality information to adjust the time for DST, so you have to manually make the adjustments forward and backward.

I see. Many thanks for that clarification, George. I had no idea that WordPress had the option of choosing a city. I’ve updated my preferences, and will see if that takes care of my particular issue.
