Great but needs a better backup folder option

  • Optimizing feature is excellent, and the best among other WP plugins. For this, I’d like to give 5 stars.

    However, original image backup needs more attention. For large sites, saving files locally consumes a lot of space. It would be great if there’s an option to offload backup images to common object storages or S3 compatible storages.

    I agree with you, for larger sites the backup folder can take up too much space. We will consider your suggestion to offload the original images to another location.

    In the meantime, you can make a local copy of the backup folder via FTP and then just empty the folder on your website.
