Log in and redirect

    Hi – I am looking to have a login which will then redirect to a specific page depending upon the user’s permissions – there will be around 20 different user “types” and I would like each type to be redirected to a different page on log in – can this be done with your plug in?

    Thanks for writing in, and we’re happy to assist you.

    Content Control has a feature to protect content based on WordPress user role or custom role. If by “user type” as the user role, we believe Content Control will work for you.

    Basically, if the user tries to view the protected page, they will be redirected to the login page. After login, it will go back to the protected page. They can only view the pages/posts assigned to them or the user role.

    For example:

    This tells the content to only show the page if the user is using the user role Subscriber.

    While Is Not – The Home Page, the user can view the page even when not login.
