General Default Denial Message creates two excerpts

    Hi

    I have been fiddling a bit with this, and have come to the conclusion that the plugin is creating two excerpts on my page to users not logged in. It does not show up twice, when the plugin is disabled.

    Logged in users are able to see the recipe. Logged out users are not. But at the end of the recipe content (outside of (the_content), the excerpt and the general default denial message are repeated, only to logged out users.

    Is this a issue with the plugin, or have I in some way called to message twice? I cant seem to find the problem.

    Otherwise, the plugin is working just as I want. Very good and simple.

    Hi @thaad,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Sorry to hear you’re currently experiencing this issue.

    We haven’t heard any reports similar to what you’re describing, so this is likely caused by another plugin/theme. Could you try and deactivate all plugins except Content Control, as well as switch your theme to a default WordPress theme? If this fixes the issue, you can then try to activate all the plugins back one-by-one until you find which of the plugins is causing the conflict.

    Hi.

    Managed to find the issue. It is created by the combination of this plugin and the Delicious Recipes plugin, that somehow creates two excerpts on one page/article/item.
    I have made a work around now, to avoid the issue.
