    I would like to be able to search for products. I put the other search widget above the page search widget..And it brings up sorry no products for the product I was looking for. What am I doing wrong?

    What is the code to place for searching products? and where do I place it?

    by the way deactivating and reactivating plugins doesn’t work. ??

    I’m not certain what you mean by searching products – are you using an specific plugin? If you’re using the wp-ecommerce plugin, you’ll need the paid goldcart upgrade to achieve product searching. If you are using that already, you can get support from https://getshopped.org/resources/premium-support/

    I’ve never had a problem with deactivating & reactivating plugins. When you say its doesn’t work – what is the issue – unless the developer has added it as a feature, deactivating won’t delete the plugin data from the database if that is what you’re expecting to happen.

    Maybe instead of having a search for products on the products pages only. It would be nice to have a search for products button at the top of the front page like a normal website. Something to think about for the next wordpress revision.

    Most WordPress sites don’t have products, so it’s unlikely to be included an any future core release. Perhaps you need to look at custom post types?

    And cubecolour is correct. Requesting paid help is discouraged under the Forum Rules.

    Well thanks cubecolour and esmi..I wasnt really going to pay anyone anyways..Just got fed up with being ignored on here. So I thought a bribe might get your attention, and it seemed to work..
