    hi, I added an audio file to a product description and when I just add it simply shows a an mp3 shortcode like this:
    <mp3 audio …. >

    but after refreshing the page it shows like this:

    I’m not using any audio plugin

  • Hi @orelqr

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand that the added audio file on the Product Description is not showing on your end.

    I replicated this on my test site using the following steps:

    – Uploaded the audio file to my Media Library
    – Under the Description box, clicked Add Media and selected the audio file
    – This was the shortcode that was produced:

    [audio mp3="https://mytestsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/audio.mp3"][/audio]
    – This is how it shows on front-end:

    Would you be able to share the step-by-step flow you did to add the audio file on your site? That might help us identify any pain points.

    It shows ok on the product front end page, no problems there.
    It shows that way only on the backend where you upload the file.

    To get a better understanding about your site configuration, can you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?
