Blog page not working

  • I have a local WP site, and any page I assign to have Blog Posts, displays blank, with not even source code. I can open blog posts and category pages from the admin side, but when I try to open the page assigned to show blog posts, it appears blank. I have created new pages and assigned them to be the blog page, and the same problem repeats. Please help. THanks
