When an order is made through WooCommerce, stock adjusts both the website and on Square, however, when the order is cancelled, for example, requested by the customer or non payment, the stock is adjusted in WooCommerce, but not Square, so next time Square and WooCommerce sync, the stock reflects what’s on Square which is incorrect.

This is particularly a problem if the customer purchases the last product in stock, but when the order is cancelled, it’s not reflected on Square, so the product shows 0 stock, when it should be 1.

I should add we also use WC Cancel plugin, but I’ve just deactivated that to see if that’s possibly part of the issue?

I hope I’ve explained this well enough, and is there a workaround for this, or are we missing a setting?

    Thanks

  • Hi @theshaman!

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that stock isn’t updating after an order is canceled, correct?

To know more about your setup and check further into this, kindly provide us the following:

    • Your System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’. Once you do this, you can paste your response here.
    • Error Log: Share a copy of any Stripe error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).
    • Thanks!
