Use shortcode to display default wp fields??

    Hello,

    Can i use the shortcode to display non-acf fields? We have custom fields on a custom post type created manually in php. I was wondering if i can use the acf shortcode to display them? (php here is not an option) I did try it and and nothing shows. Is the shortcode only meant to only work with ACF fields? Can it not display the post title for example?
