    Hey

I am using Generatepress theme v3.1.3 and using the Ad-Inserter plugin to show ads in posts. I’ve spent nearly an entire day figuring out what is the problem. (Even updated PHP from 8.0 to 8.1 from Hosting).

I found, in the available position option, that posts have one position which is above the header (I don’t want to place my ads there).

Can any from GeneratePress describe the solution to it? If you want to test simply use GeneratePress 3.1.3 and use the latest Ad-inserter plugin and try adding your Google Adsense code in the block or just any code.

Then right below the save setting option. You will see a burger menu icon click on it and check the available position. Kindly resolve it.

    Hi there,

Sorry – not sure if I fully understand.

I found, in the available position option, that posts have one position which is above the header (I don’t want to place my ads there).

Is that an option from the plugin? If so I can’t see why GP would have any control over it.

Have you tried checking with the plugin author first?

I don’t see an image option to attach with the thread otherwise I would be able to illustrate the problem easily.

As for the problem. I figured it out yesterday night that neither it was the Generatepress theme’s fault nor Ad Inserter’s.

The Google Web Stories plugin is clashing with the Ad inserter. So it is Google Web Stories causing the fuss.

So you can consider this thread as close.

    Thank you for responding.
