    Hi

Having an issue with colours pulling through on blocks… notes below
    see image

    1) This has been selected when selecting the entire element (or clicking where the text “Some Title” is)
    2) this has been set at the block level for the “paragraph” type

Styles are not pulling through for the element labelled 1, checking with inspector. But are for element labelled 2. These are both just elements within your Accordion.

Also bootstrap classes don’t appear to pull through either.. using both your stylesheets and my own. have tried with 2020 theme and custom theme.

The page I am using this on is not public. But easy to recreate

    Hello,

I’m not sure if I understand the issue.
In your screenshot it looks like there is missing style – can you check your console (F12) for any 404 errors? Maybe you need to activate 2 checkboxes in the plugin settings /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=block-editor-bootstrap-blocks.php

If this will not help, can you firstly try to disable all other plugins? It can happen that there is some conflict with something else.

Or if you can replicate this issue in some sandbox where I can access this, then I can help you. Or you can also write some step-by-step guide how to replicate this on clean WP installation and I’ll follow your steps to replicate the issue

    Thanks

    Hey thanks for the reply,

    Being as detailed as possible:

Both checkboxes are enabled on the page you suggested, I have tried unchecking and rechecking – however this is moot as per the next paragraph.

I can confirm this is a blank installation, using the Twenty Twenty theme.
No 404’s, no errors on server logs for PHP, the image following shows this, and the fact bootstrap is loading. (image 2)

I tried to make the previous image in my last post clear clear but I shall try again:
When selecting the main accordion element (blue line around to show its selected) and specifying a colour for text, Image 1 – same as prev, this does not work as the value is not passed through.
Usually this would result in the WordPress style being passed through. If this was intended because of the fact I can overlay a bootstrap class.. that would be fine. But I assume not, as even selecting a bootstrap class at the accordion level does nothing.
Created a new image here, which may help visualise:
image 3. No styles are passed through at this level, the accordion is still “default” styles.

On a default WordPress block (outside or inside the accordion), lets say paragraph for the example, both the bootstrap elements and “colours” pull through. So for example, this “paragraph” would inherit the bootstrap class: image 4

My goal was to be able to use this at the accordion level, as it is offered at this level? But it does not work. Only on “sub elements”. The same for “colours” as per the first and third images.

Hopefully this provides some more detail.

    edit1: typos
edit2: Hope this image also helps… Image 5 – showing some selected styles and missing pass through

    Manyt thanks

Aha, thank you very much for explanation, now I understand!

Honestly, I’m not sure how these color controls got there – it was never ment to work like this, but maybe it’s not so bad idea and it can…

I can try to make it works, maybe it will be in next release or it will disappear in next version if it will be very complicated,

so don’t relay on it now and please just use color per paragraph or use group element as wrapper and select colors there for now

    Thank you

    Hey

Thanks for the response… So one last question… Should I not be expecting bootstrap styles to work either for the root elements such as accordion?

Example: apply styles to this element (accordion) image 5

Result on page (we know styles are loading): image 6

The primary colour should be as displayed in image 5, but on page.. shows like image 6.

Which to me says in the backend, this is working… checking inspector i see:
    Image 7

Edit: So my point here is the bootstrap styles are also not passed to live site, just showing in editor via react.

Many thanks for your help and swift responses here.
