popup not popping up

    Hi there

    Popupmaker is the recommended tool by ninjaforms if using popup in combination with their forms. In my case popups should be triggered by clicking on the menu item ‘CONTACT’. No link to further pages, just the popup.
    I created a new popup, added the ninja form, tigger type is click open – and saved it. Show preview opens a popup but the ninja form is not loading.

    … I tried all 3 methods separately as well as combined.
    But the popup just wouldn’t pop up ??

    One thing to mention. As soon as I activate popup maker and create and save my first popup, even popups from other plugins don’t work anymore.
    Seems like there is an incompatibility problem to me. The only other plugin I use is ninjaforms and I use laytheme with the Lightbox plugin. All on latest updates.

    Any idea why popup maker isn’t working?

    Thanks for reaching out and providing details upfront.

    We checked your site and tried to trigger your popup and as you’ve reported, it didn’t work.

    There’s a javascript error thrown in the console when triggering the popup.

    Can you try switching to a default wp theme and see if the popup works after that?

    Thank you so much for your help!
    You are right indeed – it is my theme that causes the conflict. When activating a standard theme instead, popup maker workes flawless.
    Unfortunately I can’t just change my theme. So I have to deal with it.
    But after testing several other popup plugins I found one (Popup Box) that works eventually.
