Invalid schema on Merchant listing report
-
Hello,
Few days agp Google has released an enhanced product experiences in Google Search. See more here: https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2022/09/merchant-listings.
You can see from the above article that “If you are a merchant with an online store, you should check the merchant listings report for your pages selling products”.We manage dozens of ecommerce sites relying mainly on Woocommerce and Yoast.
The issue is that all sites using schema generated by Yoast is not allowing us to validate any of our ecommerce sites.
When i check the new “Merchant listing report” on Search Console, all of the products are invalidated due to these specific reasons:
– Missing field “priceType” (in “offers.priceSpecification”)
– Rating is missing required best and/or worst values (in “aggregateRating”)
– Invalid value in field “priceSpecification” (in “offers”)I checked on all our other sites, and all of them have the same invalidations. Please we need you to release a new version fully compatible with this Google′s new search experience. We trust your plugin to do this job.
Waiting for a solution ASAP.
Thanks!
