I am not able to create a rewrite republish for this post. When it’s displayed in my post listing, the rewrite/republish option isn’t displaying. When I open the post to edit there is a message at the top stating there is a republish made of this post. However, there isn’t. There is nothing in drafts. I have deactivated, activated the plugin, cleared my cache and still the issue persists.

It seems to be only this particular post that is having this issue. I am able to duplicate other posts in order to update and republish them.

Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot to resolve this issue. TIA!

    Hey @lynmc1,

When you say there is nothing in drafts, would it be still possible that there is a deleted draft in your trash? Please make sure that there is no republish post in there as well, as you can only hold one rewrite & republish post for 1 post.

Hey @jeroenrotty !Thanks for the response. My drafts are empty! I forgot to mention that so I don’t think that is the issue.

    Hi!
I’m having the same issue. After ‘Republishing’ the post, the post still shows the notification “A duplicate of this post was made. Please note that any changes you make to this post will be replaced when the duplicated version is republished.” There’s no duplicate post in Drafts or Trash.
We changed the slug when ‘Republishing’ so I’m not sure if that affects it. I checked the wp_post table and couldn’t find the updated posts so now the Post ID on the site and the one in the database do not match. I also don’t see any duplicates in the database.
Where would I find the duplicates created by this plugin?
