One of the live site admins could not get in to the staged site. It gave an error of wrong username or password. So I checked off “Disable admin authorization” on the original WP dashboard and clicked save. It didn’t seem to do anything. Then I did the same thing in the settings of WP Staging on the cloned dashboard, and now I can’t access the back-end of the cloned site to make final edits before migrating the staged site to the live one. Please help. Thank you

    Hi,
Could you please try adding “/wp-login.php” to the end of the staging site’s URL and log in from there? Please let me know the response you will get, a screenshot would be helpful.

Another question, does your password contain any special characters?

P.S. “Disable admin authorization” on the live site will disable this extra login form on any staging site you create in the future, not the current ones you have.

    Thanks,
    Alaa

Thank you!! You saved me many hours of duplication work.

I don’t see where to add a file for the screenshot, but it just looked like a normal WP login screen, and I was able to sign in.
