Google Can’t Find WordPress Sitemap

  • I have been using WordPress sitemaps for a long time. A second xml map was created for the products and google can’t find it.

    /wp-sitemap-posts-product-1.xml is found and works, but /wp-sitemap-posts-product-2.xml and later are not found and will not work.

    This issue is pretty weird and the url can be seen everywhere except Google!

    You should only submit the top-level wp-sitemap.xml URL to Google.

    It will sort out the sitemaps linked in that index on its own.
