formcraft_Widget has a deprecated constructor

  • On our website a critical error is displayed.

    In my debug-log I got this message:

    [08-Sep-2022 09:24:59 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; formcraft_Widget has a deprecated constructor in /www/htdocs/…/wordpress2021/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/function.php on line 1438

    It seems, that the FORMCRAFT-Plugin has not been updated since long. It is Version 1.4.1. But how can I run an update without the plugin calling for it?

    I tried to install a new version of formcraft and this then runs in addition to the old one – one is called “formcraft” and the new one “formcraft basic”. But all my 30 or so very sophisticated forms are still shown within the old plugin. I don’t want to lose them or have to rebuild them.
