Various error payments

    Hello,
    my website is hosted on Siteground and i use SG optimizer and WP Rocket togheter. I have updated the plugin to latest version but some issues still remain:

    “Payment provider declined the payment, please use a different payment method. OrderEndpoint.php:339”

    “Could not retrieve order. OrderEndpoint.php:459”

    “ailed to process the payment. Please try again or contact the shop admin. [UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-PAYMENT_DENIED CreditCardGateway.php:405 [UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-PAYMENT_DENIED OrderEndpoint.php:313”

    could you help me figure out how to fix it?

    Hi @hetaweb,

    The compatibility with the SG Optimizer was improved in the latest PayPal Payments update 1.9.3. Caching can potentially negatively impact PayPal Payments and either the PayPal Payments scripts should be excluded or caching be disabled on pages where the smart buttons are loaded.

    PAYMENT_DENIED is not an error the plugin can fix. This means the payment was denied either by PayPal or the bank/card provider. You can reach out to the PayPal merchant support for questions regarding (declined) payments, but PayPal usually doesn’t provide too many details.

    The error “Could not retrieve order.” mostly occurs when buyers use an unsupported browser for the payment. The team is working to improve the compatibility with older browsers, but PayPal Payments requires a fairly modern browser and JavaScript to work correctly.
    Can you find out which browsers were used during these payments?
    There is a PayPal Payments test version here which is supposed to improve compatibility with older browsers in case you can reproduce the error or would like to give it a try and provide feedback.
