We’re using the free version of the “Customer Reviews for WooCommerce” plugin and we’ve set it to allow people to upload images with their reviews. The File upload fields display just fine and it all appears to be fine until you submit the review; the review submits fine, but without any images! No images display with the review on the product page and when I look at the review history in the back end there is no images attached there either!
There is no indication anywhere that this is a pro-only feature or anything so it should be working?

    Can you please recheck this?

Hi. Yes, after a bit more testing and investigating we did manage to figure out what was happening in the end. When you select a file to upload a thumbnail of it appears with a green bar through it. It’s not until after some time when the file has completed uploading that the green bar finally disappears and the thumbnail becomes clear showing that the upload is complete. We were clicking the form’s submit button before that happened so the file wasn’t actually uploaded yet and therefore not being submitted with the form.

But it does raise an important point that you should look into for further development; the issue here is that when the green bar is over the image, it’s just a static green bar that appears to be filled to 100% progress and it doesn’t actually appear to be doing anything, so it stands to reason then that people will think that the upload has reached 100% and has completed uploading. If possible, I would strongly suggest changing the uploading overlay to either a dynamic progress bar that actually starts empty at 0% and slowly fills to 100% as the file uploads, or if that’s too difficult then at least have something animated like an animated gif spinner or something that looks more like something is still in progress.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

I got this issue. I’ve informed the development team to fix this issue in the next update.
