Shipstation error 503

    I am getting an error over the last two days when trying to fetch orders from my woocommerce store to shipstation. When i go in store settings and test connection. I get a 503 error. Server unavailable.

    THen i get this error when i click on more details under updating orders/stores in shipstation:

    An error occurred attempting to update orders: <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang=”en-US”> <head> <title>Just a moment…</title> <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=UTF-8″ /> <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=Edge” /> <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,nofollow” /> <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width,initial-scale=1″ /> <link href=”/cdn-cgi/styles/challenges.css” rel=”stylesheet” /> <meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”35″>

    Nothing was changed on the woocommerce site, except for installing wp smtp mail.

    All other stores are connecting. Log in shipstation woocommerce plugin shows no errors. I loaded the XML webpage link and it shows the orders in proper format.

    disabled wordfence and wprocket. So it seems there is a break in communication in the middle somewhere?

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for reporting this error.

    As 5xx status error codes mean that the error is on the server side, as a first step, I’d recommend reaching out to your hosting provider and checking with them what may be causing this status code. Typically, hosts save server logs that can be helpful to identify the culprit.

    If there are no related logs or your host can’t assist further, please provide us the following:

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > Status > Logs (if available).

    As far as fatal errors. None. My eye caught that shipstation logs show orders fetching/exporting properly up until i noticed this issue. 9/5 and 9/6 no logs.

    I have 6 other stores connected individually and those are all fine. The only other thing i did in my troubleshooting since. was to reset the shipstation auth key and tried to update in shipstation. it would not take. getting 503 error.

    While waiting for feedback from your hosting company you can clone your live site to a staging environment and perform the following updates:

    ➤ WordPress core
    ➤ Woodmart Theme
    ➤ Update all plugins

    If your host doesn’t offer a staging site facility, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a clone site.

    It’s also a good idea to perform a test for conflicts on your staging site. This determines whether you’re experiencing a theme or plugin conflict with WooCommerce and WooCommerce ShipStation Integration.

    You can marked this closed now. I did not think of one setting i had changed prior to having the problem. I was on Cloudflare and it said i was getting a high rate of bot requests.

    So i turned on bot mode. well that right there. Is enough to block the server from talking to the plugin. turned bot mode off on cloudflare and it resolved instantly.
